Samantha Giannasi

Samantha Giannasi currently serves as the Australia Managing Director and Vice President of JV Management at Albemarle Corporation since July 2022, and has also held the position of Chief Operating Officer Australia on an interim basis, as well as Regional Counsel & Legal Director Australia. Prior to this role, Samantha worked at BHP from November 2020 to July 2022 as Managing Counsel Projects (Acting) and Legal Counsel. From January 2011 to October 2020, Samantha was employed by Eni as Senior Legal Counsel, and previously served as Legal Counsel at Paladin Energy Ltd from May 2010 to January 2011. Samantha began a legal career at Blake Dawson from March 2007 to May 2010. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University, completed between 2002 and 2006.
