Usman Khalid has a diverse work experience in marketing and business development roles. Usman started their career as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Evernew Group in 2004, where they worked until 2006. Usman then joined PepsiCo as an intern in 2007. In 2008, they worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Monsanto, where they supported branding, pricing, market analysis, and new product launches.

From 2009 to 2012, Usman worked at Syngenta as a Marketing Manager. In 2014, they joined H.J. Baker & Bro., Inc as a Marketing Manager, responsible for driving and managing crop performance business. Usman also led new product introduction initiatives and worked on international expansion efforts.

In 2016, Usman joined Tiger-Sul Products, LLC as a Marketing Manager, where they successfully led the branding process and implemented new business development activities. Usman also played a key role in international expansion efforts and achieved a significant increase in market share.

In 2018, Usman worked at Eastman Chemical Company as a Global Marketing Manager before joining Arkema-ArrMaz in 2019. At Arkema-ArrMaz, they held the position of Global Marketing Manager, where they focused on the fertilizer industry and was responsible for developing industry plans, executing marketing plans, and identifying new market segments for growth.

Currently, Usman Khalid is working at Albemarle Corporation as the Global Sodium Sulfate Business Development Lead, a role they started in 2023.

Usman Khalid holds a Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Hohenheim, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing at Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2006 to 2008. Usman also obtained a BSc degree in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Usman Khalid has acquired various certifications, including courses in Diversity & Inclusion, Strategic Visual Stories, Go-To-Market Planning, Social Media Marketing, E-mail Marketing, Digital Marketing, Agri-Marketing, and Marketing and Sales Excellence.
