Dimitar Stanev has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Business Development at Albena Resort in Bulgaria since October 2013, where responsibilities include energy efficiency, optimization at medium voltage levels, and operation of combined heat and power (CHP) plants. Prior to this role, Dimitar completed an internship at Trianel GmbH from April 2012 to April 2013, focusing on decentralized energy generation and the market introduction of high-efficiency CHP plants, as well as the design of virtual power plant systems. Earlier experience includes an internship at Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc., where Dimitar provided technical support for programmable logic controllers and contributed to the automation of water management systems. Dimitar holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
