Mike Byers has extensive experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry. Mike is currently working as the Senior Manager - Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Site Director at Raytheon Technologies, where they lead continuous improvement initiatives and drives business and process improvements across multiple value streams. Prior to this, Mike served as the Vice President of the Advanced Aerospace Manufacturing Division at The Albers Group LLC, overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations and team performance. Mike also worked as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at The Albers Group LLC, providing vital onsite engineering support and governing critical process improvement projects. Before that, they held the position of Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer at Sabre Systems Inc., where they maintained and supervised the Littoral Surveillance Radar System's pod structure. Additionally, Mike has worked at Raytheon as a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Test Engineer, Integrated Product Team Lead, and Mechanical Design Engineer, where they supervised teams, defined acceptance procedures, produced drawings, and developed training materials.

Mike Byers completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University of Oklahoma – Gallogly College of Engineering from 2001 to 2005. Mike later pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Static Strength Analysis Techniques at Southern Methodist University from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Advanced Composite Materials & Structures, Level III Certification in Systems Planning, Research, Development & Engineering, and Systems Engineering Level II Certification, from AMTAS and DAU.
