Dr. Jose Diaz is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Albert Einstein Academies since August 2019. With a strong background in managing educational programs, Dr. Diaz has held various positions within the San Diego Unified School District, including Dean of Students and Interim Vice Principal, where responsibilities included overseeing administrative functions for large student populations and supporting academic and social-emotional development. Dr. Diaz also has a notable military background as a Battle Captain in the California Army National Guard and has successfully revitalized music programs at multiple schools. Dr. Diaz holds an EdD from UC San Diego, a Master's in Music Education from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor's in Music Education from the same institution.
