Wendy Beauchesne

Wendy Beauchesne currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Alberta Cancer Foundation since June 2020 and is a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Open Circle Benefits Plan Trust as of March 2024. Previously, Wendy held significant leadership positions at STARS Air Ambulance, where responsibilities included Executive Vice President of the STARS Foundation and Vice President of Corporate Services, overseeing various corporate service functions. Wendy also directed communications and marketing at CEDA International Corporation and served as Executive Director of Strategy & External Relations at STARS Air Ambulance, focusing on media and government relations. Prior roles include Executive Director of Operational Communications at Alberta Health Services and Communications Director at Calgary Health Region. Wendy's early career includes positions in communications with Chinook Health and Indigo, contributing to successful marketing strategies and community engagement. Wendy holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Calgary and further education from Prague University of Economics and Business.
