Mike Mellross

Mike Mellross serves as the Vice President and Program Director for the Climate Innovation Fund at the Alberta Ecotrust Foundation since March 2020. Prior experience includes managing the Energy Transition & Utilities Management unit for the City of Edmonton, focusing on climate change mitigation and energy transition programming, as well as roles at the Alberta Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council and the City of St. Albert. Contributions to environmental policy and program development during tenure at the City of Edmonton included work on green buildings and contaminated site management. Previous positions at Jacques Whitford and Golder involved assessment, remediation, and ecotoxicology. Mike Mellross holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Alberta and multiple diplomas in Environmental Engineering Technology, Environmental Technology, and Natural Sciences from Mount Royal University.
