Haithem Al-Salam

Haithem Al-Salam is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in audit compliance, business analysis, and IT service operations, currently serving as the Manager of IT Audit Compliance and Controls at AESO since May 2009. Haithem's various roles at AESO have included managing business analysis and audit readiness, overseeing IT service operations, and leading teams to enhance operational effectiveness. Prior positions include Integration Developer at IBM and Suncor Energy, as well as roles in mechanical engineering. Haithem holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and a Diploma in Object Oriented Software Technology from the University of Calgary.
