Ian Thompson, PEng. PMP. CFM. has extensive experience in engineering and facilities management. Currently serving as Manager of Corporate Facilities at AESO since May 2016, Ian previously owned Coquetvale Consulting Ltd from April 2010 to November 2020. Prior roles include Program Manager at the University of Calgary, Engineering Director at Serco Facilities Management, and Senior Equipment Engineer at Serco Aerospace. Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Honours in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside and a BTEC HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power Systems) from South Tyneside College.
