Lorraine Marshall-Thifault

Lorraine M. has extensive experience in auditing and risk management, currently serving as the Lead Auditor and Head of AESO Audit Services at AESO since February 2011. In this role, Lorraine oversees various audit services, while previously holding the position of Senior Audit Advisor, focusing on risk-based assessments, governance, and compliance. Prior to AESO, Lorraine worked as a Senior Consultant at Sunera LLC, a Senior Internal Auditor at Alberta Health Services, and an Internal Auditor at Husky Energy, gaining proficiency in data analytics, process audits, and compliance reviews. Lorraine began the auditing career as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University and a CIA designation from the Internal Audit Association.
