Philip Mayson

Philip Mayson is an experienced professional specializing in training and compliance within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Training and Compliance Delivery at AESO since January 2011, Philip leads a team focused on ensuring adherence to operations and planning reliability standards. Philip has held various roles at AESO, including Team Lead positions in Operations Performance Improvement and Training, as well as Operations Training, where responsibilities involved developing training programs and managing compliance requirements. Prior to AESO, Philip worked as an Instructional Designer at Gemini Performance Solutions, creating online learning programs, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, providing technical support for the Blackboard Learning System. Philip has also served as an Instructor at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, teaching courses on communications and cabling systems. Educationally, Philip holds a Master of Arts in Educational Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, both from the University of Calgary.
