Sherry Gao

Sherry Gao is an Engineer In Training with extensive experience in operations planning, systems, and customer access studies at AESO since May 2020. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Leeds, where Sherry contributed to projects on atmospheric aerosol photochemistry, and an Electrical Engineering Co-op at ATCO Electric, which involved updating electrical distribution models and conducting various analyses. Sherry began a career in research as an assistant at the University of Alberta, focusing on photochemistry and Arctic hurricane satellite data analysis. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Alberta, earned in 2020.
