Vern Dewit

Vern Dewit is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in business analysis and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Business Analyst at AESO since January 2014, Vern has played a crucial role in various infrastructure lifecycle projects, producing key documentation such as requirements and business cases. Previously, as the owner of Summit Software Solutions Inc. from April 2006 to January 2020, Vern undertook diverse contracts, providing consulting and analysis services. Additional roles include Business Analyst at Alliance Pipeline, Senior Software Developer and Business Analyst at TransCanada, Senior SharePoint Developer/Business Analyst at Turbo Decisions Inc., and Technical Team Lead/Analyst at The City of Calgary. Vern’s foundational education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba, obtained between 1993 and 1999.
