Janet McColgan

Janet McColgan has extensive experience in the field of information technology, currently serving as the Director of Information Technology Services at the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) since May 2014. Prior roles at AER include Manager of Digital Workplace Solutions, Manager of Enterprise Information & Collaboration, Manager of Digital Enablement and COE, and Manager of Solution Design and Delivery, demonstrating a progression of leadership responsibilities. Janet's career began as a Developer at Transcanada from 2001 to 2005, followed by various roles at AER from September 2006 to March 2014, including Developer, Technical Lead, Practice Lead, and Application Architect. Janet holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick, earned between 1992 and 1996.
