Christina Williamson, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Legislative Analyst for the Government of Alberta's Ministry of Jobs, Economy and Trade since August 2024. Previously, Christina held the position of Research Officer at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, providing nonpartisan research support to various committees. As a Research Associate at the Métis Archival Project, Christina focused on historical government records concerning Métis communities and managed research projects. Christina has also contributed to several academic institutions including Carleton University and Concordia University in various research and teaching capacities, emphasizing Indigenous history and engagement. Christina holds a PhD in Cultural Mediations from Carleton University, alongside other advanced degrees in history and public history, and a bilingual high school diploma.
