Liam Stone

Liam Stone is an accomplished public servant currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Minister in the Government of Alberta. With a diverse career spanning various leadership roles, Liam has held positions including Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental and International Relations and Chief of Staff to the Deputy Minister of International and Intergovernmental Relations. In addition, Liam has significant experience in policy and sustainability as the Head of Policy and Sustainability at TransAlta, and has contributed to multiple government sectors through various roles, including at Environment Canada and the Government of Canada. Liam holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a dual Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Calgary.
