Ruth Mitchell

Ruth Mitchell is the Director of the System Refocusing Division at Alberta Health, with extensive expertise in project management, policy development, and program evaluation. Previously, they served as a Senior Health Research Evaluator at Alberta Innovates – Health Solutions and held multiple managerial roles within the Government of Alberta, contributing significantly to health technology policy and pandemic response initiatives. Ruth earned a PhD from The University of Georgia and a Master of Science from the University of Alberta, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in their field.
