Jason Beck

Jason Beck has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Jason is currently the Director of IT at Alberta Milk, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, Jason worked at BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions from 2013 to 2022, where they served as Director of Information Solutions and IT Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for creating and implementing IT strategies, managing a team, and developing IT policies and procedures. Before that, Jason took a paternity leave in 2012. In 2008, they worked at Acer as an IT Operations Manager and Operations Consultant for the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games. Jason also worked as an IT Implementation Manager and IT Consultant at Acer from 2008 to 2010. Jason started their career as an IT Consultant at Accu-Air Technical Services in 2007 and later worked as an IT Field Consultant at Trident Exploration from 2005 to 2007, where they provided training and support for drilling consultants and ensured quality assurance of field electronic data.

Jason Beck has a background in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. Jason attended Athabasca University from 2007 to 2009 for Computer Science and the University of Alberta from 2000 to 2005 for Mechanical Engineering. Jason also holds various certifications, including Project Management Professional obtained in September 2017, Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner obtained in 2016, and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management obtained in 2013, among others.
