Chris Waples

Chris Waples is the current Director of Education at Alberta Pipe Trades College. Chris has been in this role since June of 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Director of Education at UA Local 488 from January 2014 to June 2018. Before that, they were the Program Head at Alberta Pipe Trades College from September 2010 to June 2018.

Chris Waples has a Red Seal in steamfitting/pipefitting from Local Union 488. Chris is also a journeyman Red Seal plumber/gasfitter from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Chris has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta.
