The Alberta Rigging Safety Council (ABRSC) is an organization dedicated to improving safety in industries that involve rigging and hoisting throughout Alberta.

Our mission is to protect workers through education, training, and the development of a standardized competency framework that supports safe, consistent, and professional work practices across the industry.

ABRSC brings together industry leaders, employers, workers, trainers, and stakeholders to develop and promote recognized competency standards that enhance safety, improve workforce development, and support industry excellence.

By fostering collaboration and advocating for practical, industry-informed standards, we aim to create safer worksites and elevate the professionalism of rigging and hoisting occupations across Alberta.
