Rosa Rivera-Hainaj

Rosa Rivera-Hainaj, PhD, currently serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty at Albertus Magnus College since July 2023. Previously, Rosa held the position of Provost at McDaniel College from July 2021 to May 2022, and served as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs at Our Lady of the Lake University from July 2017 to June 2021. Rosa also held the role of Dean of Science and Mathematics at Lorain County Community College from July 2011 to July 2017. Earlier academic positions include Associate Professor of Chemistry and Interim Chair, as well as Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Purdue University North Central from August 2006 to June 2011, and Assistant Professor of Chemistry at James Madison University from August 2002 to May 2006. Rosa began a career in academia as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry at John Carroll University from August 2001 to May 2002. Educational accomplishments include a PhD in Biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
