Steve Sheckell

Steve Sheckell is a partner in the Assurance Services practice and leads the US-Central Region as the assurance managing partner. The US-Central Region Audit Practice has 3,000 professionals. He has over 29 years of experience with EY providing a full range of audit-related services, and he routinely leads large-scale audit engagements for several SEC clients with international divisions. He has served a variety of clients focusing on the automotive and manufacturing industries.

Sheckell graduated from Albion College in 1992 with a B.A. in economics and management. Sheckell is a licensed CPA in Michigan and a member of the MICPA.

Sheckell is involved in numerous charities, including a member of the Board of Directors at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Michigan and a member of the Tocqueville Society of the United Way of Southeast Michigan.
