Jacques Amselem, Ph.D., has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Jacques is currently the CEO & Founder of Albo, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, from January 2019 to May 2021, they served as the Co-Founder and CTO of Albo. In February 2019, they also took on the role of Visiting Professor at The College of Management Academic Studies.
Before joining Albo, Jacques worked at Amdocs for 24 years. From January 2011 to July 2018, they served as a Senior Program and Project Manager, leading a team of 50 engineers and overseeing $4.5MM software developments on a monthly basis. During this time, they implemented DevOps and Agile Methodology. From January 2003 to December 2010, Jacques held the position of Senior Consulting Manager at Amdocs. Jacques was also responsible for implementing Amdocs products at customer sites from September 1999 to December 2002, which involved extensive customer interactions and travel.
Jacques had a three-year relocation to the USA from September 1996 to September 1999, where they served as the Business Parameters Manager for the Amdocs/AT&T/KPMG joint team in Dallas, TX. Prior to that, from April 1994 to August 1996, they worked as a Team Leader/System Analyst at Amdocs.
Jacques began their career as a Software Developer at Dassault Systèmes from September 1988 to August 1989. Jacques then joined Oracle, where they worked as a Business Analyst from December 1989 to March 1994.
Overall, Jacques has a diverse background with extensive experience in program and project management, consulting, software implementation, and teaching.
Jacques Amselem, Ph.D. obtained their Bac C from Lycée Pierre De Fermat in 1981. Jacques then went on to pursue their Math Sup / Math Spe degree from the same institution from 1981 to 1984. In 1984, Jacques enrolled at Centrale Méditerranée and completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Engineering Technology, General in 1987. After a gap in their education, Jacques returned to academia and attended Université Paris 8 from 2010 to 2015. There, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Hebrew and Jewish Studies - Biblical Criticism.
