Luca Bader

Luca Bader is a Senior Advisor at ASG, where he advises clients on investment and business strategies in Italy and across the European Union.

Mr. Bader has worked at the highest levels of politics and international affairs. He served as Chief of Staff and Senior Political Advisor to the Prime Minister of Italy from 2016 to 2018, and previously as Chief of Staff to Italy’s Foreign Minister. In both roles, Mr. Bader was deeply involved in high-level Italian political and diplomatic decision-making. Previously, Mr. Bader worked in the Italian Trade Agency’s office in Sydney, Australia. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Political Advisor to the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE) in the European Parliament, Deputy Head for International Relations for the Italian Democratic Party, and a Senior Fellow at the Institute of International Affairs in Rome.

Mr. Bader sits on the board of directors of the Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, and is a Senior Fellow at the Italian Institute for International Political Studies in Milan. Recently, he was a Director at Leonardo-Finmeccanica S.P.A. in Rome.

Mr. Bader received an M.A. in International Business from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. in Politics from South Bank University.

He is based in Milan, Italy.
