Willem Moelker

Willem Moelker has a strong background in the maritime industry, with significant work experience in sales and marketing, operations, and management roles. From 2014 to the present, they have been the Sales and Marketing Director at Albwardy Damen, a shipbuilding and repair company in the UAE and Oman. Willem has also served as the Operations Director Dubai and Fujairah on an interim basis. Prior to this, they held the positions of Head of Sales and Marketing and Head of Oil & Gas at Albwardy Damen.

Before joining Albwardy Damen, Moelker worked at LLoyds Register as the Marine Manager for the Middle East and Africa from 2012 to 2014. Willem also had significant roles at Lloyd's Register, where they held various senior management positions in the Netherlands, China, and Dubai. Their responsibilities included client relationship management, leading and coaching sales teams, and designing and implementing sales strategies.

Willem Moelker obtained their BSc degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Maritime engineering BSC and graduated as Chief Engineer all ships from Maritime Instituut "de Ruyter" between 1982 and 1986.
