Narendar Garidi

Narendar Garidi has a wealth of experience in the field of consulting. Narendar began their career in 2008 as a Software Engineer at Wipro Technologies, where they analyzed, defined and documented business and functional requirements and designed and developed applications using Microsoft Dot Net technology. Narendar also led a team of 5 members in the design and development of a finance portal for a leading IT MNC. In 2010, they co-founded and served as Marketing Manager for Guideline Educational Services (GuESs), a social enterprise with a mission to enable rural students to make informed career decisions. As part of this role, they conducted research to understand the attitudes and perceptions of students in rural areas towards career planning and guidance, designed a market research strategy and prepared a detailed business plan. Narendar also created a network of professional career counselors and provided services to 1100 youth over a period of one year as part of a pilot project. In 2012, they joined the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India as a Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellow, where they led the district team in planning and implementation of sustainable livelihoods program worth Rs. 3 million impacting the lives of 2000 families with 100% increase in income. Narendar also analysed and addressed the gaps in Tussar Silk Weaving Industry in Telangana by eliminating middle men and bringing innovation in supply chain and finance. In 2015, they joined Citizens Alliance as a Senior Associate, where they led a team of 5 associates in establishing a new vertical for social sector consulting and designed an operational plan for massive public outreach program of Bihar Government touching 40,000 villages across the state. Narendar then moved to DEVSOL CONSULTING LLP as Cofounder and Senior Project Manager, where they lead a team of 50 Research Associates to estimate the tertiary healthcare market potential across 5 districts in Andhra Pradesh. Narendar also analysed the factors limiting the development of a tribal village near Navi Mumbai and proposed a model village development plan to address the challenges, as well as developed a model to estimate the target population in a given geography for a leading apparel company in India. Narendar Garidi currently serves as HEAD - Partner Program Services at Access Livelihoods Consulting India.

Narendar Garidi completed a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University between 2003 and 2007. Narendar then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship from the School of Management and Labour Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai between 2010 and 2012. Prior to this, they attended Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Wattem between 1999 and 2000 for their Secondary School education.
