Tom Merola

Tom Merola is an experienced engineering and maintenance professional with a robust background in biopharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. From July 2022 to February 2023, Tom served as Director of Engineering and Maintenance at Alcami Corporation, following a role as Associate Director of Validation Engineering at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. Between 2014 and 2020, Tom held significant positions at Astra Zeneca/Medimmune, including Maintenance Facilitator and Senior Process Engineer. Tom's career started at Impax Laboratories, where Tom worked as Plant Engineering Manager, and included a stint as Maintenance Manager at PIM Brands, Inc. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Southern New Hampshire University and also has a background in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology.
