Chris D.

Chris D. has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Chris started their career as a Technical Manager at Quatrix Communications in 1996. Chris then worked at The DataBase as an Infrastructure (CableBase) specialist from 1992 to 1996. In 2000, they joined Alcatel as a Systems Consultant, and later in 2002, they established their own company, Araucaria Solutions Ltd, where they provided consulting services for Voice over IP and wireless technologies. In 2006, Chris joined Alcatel-Lucent as a Channel Sales Manager in the UK. Over the years, they held various roles, including Senior Channel Manager and Business Line Manager. Their most recent position is Network Business Lead UK/I at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, where they are responsible for delivering IoT solutions to the transportation vertical.

Chris D. attended Montgomery High School from 1979 to 1984, but did not obtain a degree or field of study during that time. Later, from 1984 to 1989, Chris attended Blackpool and Fylde College, where they earned an HNC in Electrical/Electronics. In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in subjects such as team productivity, time management, storytelling, and cybersecurity awareness from 2019 to 2022.
