Dr. Benedikt Linder

Dr. Benedikt Linder is a Scientific Consultant at Alcedis, a HUMA company, since May 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Linder served as a Gruppenleiter Forschung und Entwicklung at Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt am Main from December 2015 to May 2023, where responsibilities included serving as Principal Investigator for a DFG-funded project targeting glioma stem-like cells and overseeing multiple other research initiatives. Dr. Linder also held a Postdoctoral position at the Neuroscience Center of the University Hospital Frankfurt, focusing on preclinical cancer research related to glioblastoma. Previous roles include a Research Scientist position at Universitätsmedizin Göttingen in mid-2015 and a wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Doktorand) at the University of Goettingen from October 2011 to May 2015, with research centered on tumor genetics and the interaction of the Vitamin D receptor with Hedgehog/Patched-signaling pathways. Dr. Linder earned a Master's degree in Biology from Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen in 2011 and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution in 2009.
