Jorge Dias

Jorge Dias is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in antibody discovery and oncology research. Currently serving as Associate Director of Antibody Discovery at Alchemab Therapeutics Ltd since March 2020, Jorge has held roles as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist within the same organization. As a Council Member at GLG since 2018, Jorge provides expert consultation in strategic drug development and biotech investment. Previously, Jorge was a Senior Scientist at Immunocore from January 2017 to March 2020, focusing on advancing oncology targets. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Institute de Biologie Structurale and a Predoctoral Fellowship at EMBL, where Jorge earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Structural and Molecular Biology. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Structural and Molecular Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
