Ian Bergman

Ian Bergman has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2003. Ian began their career as a Network Systems Administrator at The Production Network in 2003, followed by a Co-Founder and Deputy Managing Editor role at Raw Story in 2004. In 2005, they took an internship at IBM, where they developed the 'NetSifter' technology. In 2006, they joined Microsoft as a Global Managing Director for Microsoft for Startups, and held various roles at Microsoft until 2016. In 2016, they became an Angel Investor and Startup & Corporate Innovation Advisor. In 2019, they joined Graham & Walker as a Founding LP, Mentor, and Investor. In 2021, they became a Partner, Head of AlchemistX and Partner, Head of Product | AlchemistX at Alchemist Accelerator. Finally, in 2022, they became a Founding LP, Mentor, and Investor at Pack Ventures.

Ian Bergman has a diverse educational background. Ian holds an MBA in Marketing and International Business from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, a BA in Politics and French from Oberlin College, and has attended Copenhagen Business School for Business. Additionally, they have participated in Semester At Sea and ISE, and attended Charles Wright Academy. Ian also holds two certifications: CompTIA A+ (obtained in June 2001) and Microsoft Certified Professional.
