Jose Paul Martin

Jose Paul Martin has worked in the information technology space since 1999. Jose began their career at Merril Lynch International Bank Bahrain as a Client Support Associate. In 2000, they were a Summer Intern at ICRA Management Advisory Services. In 2002, they worked as a Functional Analyst (Management Trainee) at Arthur Andersen, and then as a Senior Business Analyst at Ernst & Young. From 2004 to 2006, Jose Paul Martin worked at BDO Bahrain as a Manager and Senior Consultant. From 2006 to 2016, they were the Director of Investments and Principal of Private Equity and Financial Advisory Services at Venture Capital Bank. In 2016, they joined Perusal Global Solutions as an Advisory Board Member, Alchemist Accelerator as a Business Mentor, and Encapita Investment Group as the Managing Partner.

Jose Paul Martin has a diverse educational background. Jose obtained a BBA from the University of Kerala between 1995 and 1998, followed by a PGDBA (MBA) from ICFAI Business School between 2000 and 2002. In 2015, they completed an Executive Program in Management from Columbia Business School, focused on Leadership, Strategy and Global Finance. Additionally, they hold three certifications: an E-Commerce Professional from IBM Accredited Centre of Education (IBM ACE) obtained in 2000; a Certified Oracle (RDBMS) Application Developer from Electronics Research and Development Centre of India (GoI) obtained in 1998; and a Leadership: People, Teams and Organizations certification from EMERITUS Institute of Management.
