David Socarras

David Socarras has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. David started their career as an Administrador de Redes at the University of Havana in Cuba in 2009 and worked there until 2014. In 2015, they joined BrandsMart USA as a Computers Salesperson and remained there until 2016. David then worked as a Switchboard Operator at Humana from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they joined the University of Miami as a Desktop Support Technician and remained there until 2021. After that, they worked as a Technology Analyst at Sony Pictures Entertainment from 2021 to 2022. David then joined Robert Half as a System Analyst in 2022 and worked there until mid-2023. Currently, they are working as an Infrastructure Engineer at Alchemy Global Solutions, starting in May 2023.

David Socarras completed their Bachelor's degree in CyberSecurity from Miami Dade College from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science - AS degree in Information Technology from the same institution, which they pursued from 2017 to 2019. In 2000 to 2004, they attended Tech Institute in Havana, Cuba, where they studied Information Technology Systems.

David Socarras has also acquired various certifications throughout their education and career. David obtained the CompTIA Security+: Authentication & Authorization Design Concepts certification and the CompTIA Security+: Social Engineering Techniques & Other Attack Types certification from Skillsoft in November 2022. In July 2022, they completed the Microsoft 365 Essential Training for Administrators certification from LinkedIn. Prior to that, they earned the Cisco Network Associate and Help Desk Technician certifications from Miami Dade College in May 2019. In April 2016, they received the Microsoft Certified Professional certification. In July 2004, they obtained the IT Technician certification from IT Technical Institute. Additionally, they hold certifications in CPR and CompTIA A+ since April 2017 and December 2015, respectively.
