Aarti Jivrajani has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Aarti started their career as a research intern at the Centre for Knowledge Analytics and Ontological Engineering in 2015. In the following year, they worked as a summer research intern at Binghamton University. Aarti continued their research internships with the Center for Cloud Computing and Big Data at PES University from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Aarti joined Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, as a cloud engineering intern. Aarti then transitioned to a software developer role in the cloud team, where they developed a streaming infrastructure pipeline and a framework enabling efficient application development. Additionally, they played a key role in enhancing the API Gateway platform.

Aarti also gained experience in academia, working as a graduate student, graduate teaching assistant, and graduate mentor for the Early Research Scholars Program at UC Santa Barbara from 2019 to 2021.

In 2020, they contributed to Kubernetes open source as a contributor for CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation). Aarti further pursued their interest in Kubernetes by joining VMware Tanzu in 2021 as a Member of Technical Staff, focusing on Kubernetes open source.

Recently, Aarti took up a software engineer position at Alcion, starting in 2022.

Throughout their career, Aarti has showcased their passion for cloud computing, software development, and research. Aarti has acquired valuable skills and expertise in various technical domains, making their a well-rounded professional.

Aarti Jivrajani completed their education starting from 2004 to 2011 at Cathedral High School, where they obtained their ICSE degree in Science and Mathematics. Aarti then attended PES University from 2013 to 2017 to pursue their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science and Engineering. In 2019, Aarti enrolled at UC Santa Barbara to obtain their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2021. In the same year, they also pursued a specialization in Fintech: Foundations & Applications of Financial Technology from Wharton Online. Additionally, Aarti has obtained various certifications, including Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Containers and Services from Coursera, Apache Kafka Series v2 - Part 1 from Udemy, Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation from Coursera, Cloud Architecture: Design Decisions from LinkedIn, and Microservices: Asynchronous Messaging also from LinkedIn.
