Valerie Daoud Henderson has over 25 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Valerie began their career in 1991 as a Proprietary Trader and M&A Analyst at Morgan Stanley. In 1999, they joined CPR Asset Management as a Proprietary Trader, where they established merger arbitrage expertise, built relationships with European brokers and lawyers, and launched four hedge funds (arbitrage, L/S and multi-strategy) with approximately €250 million in AUM. In 2002, they moved to Natixis Asset Management as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Buyside Analyst for Event Driven and LS strategies, where they developed HF expertise and launched two funds (Event Driven and L/S) with €200 million in AUM. In 2005, they joined Boussard & Gavaudan Asset Management as a Partner and Buyside Analyst for Event Driven strategies. In 2008, they became the Head of Europe Environment Group at FourWinds Capital Management. In 2015, they became the COO of Alcméon and Co-Founder of Ecotone Resilience, where they developed innovative and holistic sustainable investment models for private and institutional investors.
Valerie Daoud Henderson attended ESSEC Business School from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Management. Valerie also attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 1990, but no degree or field of study was specified. No additional certifications were mentioned.
