Currently serving as HSEQ Manager at Alco Energy Rotterdam B.V. since 2021, Eric previously held leadership roles as Operations Manager at Ducor Petrochemicals BV from 2011 to 2019 and Domo Chemicals from 2004 to 2011. Eric’s career began with production roles at Domo Polypropylene BV, Basell Polyolefins, Targor B.V., and BASF Rozenburg. Eric graduated with a degree in Chemical Technology from Delft University of Technology in 1994.

Alco Energy Rotterdam is a young biorefinery that was started in 2010 in Europoort Rotterdam. It is one of the largest producers of bioethanol, animal feed and CO₂ in Europe. The Rotterdam factory is part of Alcogroup, one of the largest bioethanol producer in Europe, and Vanden Avenne, a specialized grain trader. As Alco Energy Rotterdam, we are a sustainable organization that have as a goal to be climate-neutral by 2030. The factory in the Europoort has approximately 120 employees. Alco Energy makes a solid contribution to sustainable energy use in transport and protein feed.
