Coombes James

Coombes James has over 35 years of experience in the industrial sector, primarily with Alcoa since April 1988, where roles have included Process Controller, Area Process Controller specializing in the BAYER process, and Oxalate Removal Operations. Responsibilities have encompassed equipment management, team leadership, and operational support in aluminium refining. Prior to Alcoa, Coombes worked at the Government Printing Office as a qualified book binder and at Pionex in mechanical steel fabrication. Education includes a Diploma of Process Plant Technology and a Certificate IV in Process Plant Technology from Challenger Institute of Technology, along with a Trade Certificate in Book Binding from Perth Technical College.
