Dan Dickens is a seasoned professional in power station operations and control, currently serving as a Senior Power Station Controller at Alcoa since February 2021. Dan has a diverse background, having previously worked at Chevron for over a decade in various roles including Turn Around Maint. - Operations Representative and Production Specialist. Prior experience includes positions at Alcoa as a Central Control Room Technician and Power Station Production Coordinator, as well as being a HiSmelt Process Controller at Rio Tinto and a Control Room Operator at Minara Resources. Dan holds a Diploma in ESI Generation (Operation) and multiple certifications, including Cert IV in Training and Assessment and Cert IV in Process Plant Technology, along with qualifications as an Examiner in Thermal Power Generation from WorkSafe Western Australia.
