Daniel Schmid is an experienced professional in data engineering and business intelligence, currently serving as a Data Engineer and Business Intelligence Developer at ABN Group since September 2021. Prior to this role, Daniel held positions at Community Broker Network from 2017 to June 2021, where responsibilities included Applications Team Manager and Data Analyst. Earlier experience includes working as an AX Solution Architect at NAS Insurance Brokers from 2008 to 2016, and roles such as Analyst Programmer at Gold Corporation - The Perth Mint from 2000 to 2008. Daniel began a career in technology at Royal Perth Hospital as an Instrument Technician and Orthotic Technician from 1996 to 2000. Additional foundational experience includes Workshop Engineer at AO Foundation (1992-1996) and a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship at ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse (1988-1992). Education was completed at Bezirkschule Grenchen between 1985 and 1988.
