Neil Desai

Neil Desai currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at both Solace Power and ClearRisk Inc., and as a Director on the Board of The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, where Neil also chairs the Strategic Oversight and Governance Committee. Neil has extensive experience in the tech industry, having held the interim position of Executive Vice President of Technology at Viral Nation, focusing on AI solution commercialization, and previously as Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Magnet Forensics, a leader in cyber-investigation solutions. Neil's governmental experience includes serving as Chief of Staff at Global Affairs Canada, where strategic advice was provided to the Minister of International Development, and roles in the Office of the Prime Minister and the Munk School of Global Affairs. Neil's educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions, including an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a BA (Hon) from Carleton University.
