Obinna Amadi

Obinna Amadi is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in DevOps and system administration, currently serving as IT Lead DevOps at Alcon Nigeria Ltd since May 2018. Responsibilities include setting up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and automating deployment processes using Ansible. Previously, Obinna worked as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on AWS EC2 configuration management and migrating monolithic applications to microservices with Docker. Earlier in the career as a System Network Administrator, essential duties included configuring Linux environments and managing user accounts. Obinna is also a volunteer on the CIPS Experience Review Committee since June 2021, and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
