Aldo Fucinari

Aldo Fucinari has a varied and extensive work experience in the field of reliability engineering and quality assurance. Aldo has worked for several companies in different roles over the years.

From 2019 to the present, Fucinari has been working as a Principal Reliability Engineer at Alcon.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Consultant in HALT/HASS test chambers and root cause failure analysis. Aldo collaborated with multiple organizations including Hobbs Engineering, Quality Testing Services, and environmental test chamber manufacturers. During this time, they also served as a Senior Reliability Engineer at Alcon Surgical R&D in California.

From 2008 to 2012, Fucinari worked as the Manager of Systems Engineering at Orthodyne Division of Kulicke and Soffa.

Between 2005 and 2008, they served as the Manager of Quality Engineering at Emulex. Aldo was responsible for managing quality engineers and improving the corporate wide Quality Management System.

From 2002 to 2005, Fucinari worked as a Senior Consultant at Quality Assurance Systems. Aldo contributed to the design and integration of several storage virtualization servers and provided consulting services to RAID controller startup Netcell and Emu audio sequencer company.

From 1995 to 2002, they held the position of Sr. Director, Engineering at Seagate. Aldo played a key role in the development of Travan tape drives and peripheral devices, as well as software and hardware testing.

Between 1993 and 1995, Fucinari worked as the Quality Engineering Manager at Conner peripherals. Aldo merged testing processes and resources after the acquisition of Archive/Irwin Magnetics. Aldo also worked closely with OEM customers during the product qualification process.

From 1986 to 1993, they had various roles at Irwin Magnetics, including Software/Hardware Quality Engineering Manager and OEM Technical Accounts Manager. Aldo managed a team of software quality engineers, ensured compatibility with Microsoft Windows operating system, and handled all aspects of OEM relationships with major companies.

Fucinari began their career in 1984 at Monitor Automation as the Quality and Engineering Systems Manager. Aldo provided expertise in quality management systems and engineering for the start-up machine vision company.
