Bhavin Patel

Bhavin Patel has a strong background in quality engineering and design control. Bhavin currently works as a Principal Design Control Engineer at Alcon since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Flex as a Staff Design Quality Assurance Engineer from September 2018 to June 2021. Bhavin also held the role of Principal Quality Engineer at PerkinElmer, Inc. from September 2016 to September 2018. Before that, they worked at Dentsply Sirona as a Quality Design Engineer from March 2014 to September 2016. Bhavin's early career includes roles at Covidien (now Medtronic) as a Quality Engineer from February 2011 to February 2014 and as a DQA Analyst II from October 2008 to February 2011. Bhavin started their career as an Intern in the Chemistry Lab at Covidien from May 2007 to September 2007, where they performed experimental analysis on degradable materials.

Bhavin Patel has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, which they obtained from 2007 to 2008. Bhavin also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same university, earned from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Connecticut School of Business, which they completed in 2017. Bhavin Patel has also obtained the certifications of ASQ Certified Quality Auditor and ASQ Certified Quality Engineer from ASQ - World Headquarters in May 2014 and May 2012, respectively.
