Julie M. Brewer

Julie Brewer is Senior Vice President, President, Global Franchises for Alcon. She oversees innovation strategy, portfolio management, product development, and core product launch preparations for the Surgical and Vision Care businesses. Ms. Brewer joined Alcon in 2025 from Baxter International, where she was President, Care and Connectivity Solutions. Prior to that she spent 17 years in senior leadership roles at Medtronic plc, most recently as President, Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Services. She has also held commercial leadership positions at Asteres Inc., McKesson Automated Healthcare, and Allergan, where she began her career in healthcare.

Ms. Brewer holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States.
