Quan Dao is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing advanced software solutions for medical and communication technologies. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Alcon since September 2019, Quan has been instrumental in creating automation metrology instruments for intraocular lenses, utilizing skills in C++, C#, WPF, and Entity Framework. Prior to Alcon, Quan contributed to NEC Enterprise Communication Technologies, focusing on system design for VOIP solutions, and played a significant role at VIEWORKS in developing medical imaging software in collaboration with Toshiba Medical. Quan's career began as a researcher at Super Intelligence Laboratory, where extensive work on Wireless Sensor Networks led to published research.
