Steve Zhang

Steve Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and materials development. Steve started their career at ALZA Corporation as a Research Scientist in 2007. In 2008, they joined CooperVision as a Senior Scientist, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they contributed to the development of innovative products in the field. In 2013, they joined Alcon as the Director of Chemistry and Materials Development, where they continue to utilize their expertise in leading roles.

Steve Zhang earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside in 2000. Steve then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2000 to 2002. Lastly, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Synthetic Inorganic and Polymer Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside, completing it in 2007.
