John Pines

John Pines has extensive experience in leadership roles within the healthcare and human resources sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Contracts & Government Relations at Alcona Citizens For Health Inc since July 2013, John is responsible for developing policy priorities and advocacy initiatives while monitoring the healthcare landscape. Previously, John held various human resources positions at Alcona Citizens For Health, Inc., including Human Resources Director and Human Resources Generalist, where responsibilities encompassed staffing strategies and employee benefits management. Prior to this, John was the Human Resources Director at Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Inc., overseeing all HR functions, and served as a Legislative Aide in the U.S. House of Representatives, liaising with officials and tracking legislation. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Community Development from Central Michigan University.
