Catharina Monster is the current Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Synlab Group. Catharina has held this position since October 2020. Prior to their current role, Catharina was the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Hyva from September 2015 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.

Before their time at Hyva, Catharina was the HR Director Global Equipment at Sandvik from April 2009 to September 2015. In this role, they were a member of the management team and contributed to the development of the business strategy and strategic initiatives in the different Product Areas. Catharina also developed and secured the implementation of the People Strategy within the Product Areas, managed and secured follow through of core HR policies and processes such as Talent & Succession Management, Performance Management, Diversity & Inclusion and Resourcing.

Catharina has extensive experience in human resources, strategic planning, and talent management. Catharina is a strong leader with a proven track record of developing and executing successful human resource strategies that support organizational goals.

Catharina Monster has a Master's degree in Business Administration from NCOI University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Windesheim. Catharina is also certified in Predictive Index Practitioner, General Intelligence Assessment (GIA), and Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) from Thomas International, and Certified HR Professional from the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Personeelsmanagement & Organisatieontwikkeling.

They work with Kimberly Urdahl - Group General Counsel, Santiago Valor - CMO, and Sami Badarani - CFO. Their manager is Mathieu Floreani, CEO.
