Andriy Popovych

Andriy Popovych, PhD has a diverse work experience in finance, auditing, and academia. Andriy'smost recent role was as the Head of Finance at Alcor, a software R&D office builder for US product tech companies in Eastern Europe and Latin America. In this role, they managed financial operations and provided support for recruitment, legal compliance, and back-office tasks. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Manager at Alcor and an Expert at the Finance & Legal Committee of the IT Ukraine Association, where they shared their expertise on legal regulations and tax legislation applicable to IT companies. Andriy also has experience as an Auditor at PwC, where they performed audits, made adjustments to financial statements, and ensured compliance with IFRS. Additionally, they worked as a Credit Analyst at a Credit Rating Agency, where they conducted financial and credit analysis for corporate companies and developed methodologies for determining credit ratings and corporate governance levels. Andriy also has experience in academia, having worked as a Researcher and Lecturer at the National Aviation University, where they focused on economics and finance and conducted research on enterprise performance evaluation. Andriy began their career as a Senior Auditor at The State Audit Service of Ukraine.

Andriy started their educational journey in 2004, attending Kherson National Technical University where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General. Andriy successfully completed their program in 2008.

In 2008, Popovych furthered their education by enrolling in Kyiv National Economics University, where they earned a Master's Degree in Finance, General. Andriy completed their studies in 2009.
