Mars Garza

Mars Garza is a co-founder at Alcove, where the focus is on developing data infrastructure for carbon suppliers since May 2022. Prior to this role, Mars held various positions at XYZ Venture Capital, progressing from analyst to associate and then entrepreneur in residence between August 2020 and June 2022. Experience also includes a position at Endeavor in entrepreneur selection and growth, and as a TMT investment analyst at Smart Woman Securities, where Mars conducted research and made investment recommendations. Additionally, Mars completed the 118 Capital Fellowship, focusing on start-ups with social, environmental, and economic impact. Mars co-founded Estudiantes Mexicanos Unidos to create a support network for Mexican students and was previously a summer intern at NextGenVest, working on marketing and product development. Mars holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Economics from Harvard University, complemented by a secondary field in the History of Art and Architecture.
